Finding the Right Prospects The biggest buzz amongst network marketers is always around finding the right prospects. Where are all these people that need my opportunity, services, or products? Well, they might be right under your nose and you don’t even realize it!

I know, you’ve already talked to everyone you know and they said NO! What now? Take a big step back, a deep breathe, and look at your skills. It’s takes skill to talk to people the right way. If you are getting a lot of NOs, look at it from your prospects point of view. Would you buy from you? Would you want to be sponsored by you? Part of finding the right prospects is about learning the skills to make a genuine connection with people.

What? I know you must be thinking that’s a lot of work! Hey it’s part of what we all need to do in order to be “finding the right prospects” and building a successful business. So listen up!

Finding the Right Prospects for Your MLM Business

When I first started in my first network marketing company, I did the most ridiculous stuff because I was so excited about the products and opportunity. Does this sound familiar? I would meet someone and proceed to excitedly tell them about these amazing products and how much they helped me. All that person wanted to do was run away, fast!

Finding the Right Prospects  for your MLMI can’t blame them. I did not even find out the needs of the prospect to understand if I had the solution for them. All I did was “vomit” my products and/or opportunity all over them. Of course they said NO and avoided me ever after. Does that sound like you?

Let’s face it finding the right prospects for your MLM business takes works and skill. So, what do you need to know? Here are just a few tips to remember.

  • Connect with your prospects. Remember, it’s not about YOU, it’s about them. Be interested, not interesting.
  • Find out their needs. Ask questions and be caring. Remember you are there to help your prospects, not just throw another person into your business opportunity.
  • Position your product, service or opportunity more effectively through asking questions and finding out what is important to the prospect.
  • Ask yourself this: Do you want to just make a desperate sale or provide a real solution that will help (not burden) your prospect?

By caring about a person’s needs, finding the right prospects for your MLM business will start happening. Only after you understand a person’s needs and who they are, can you appeal to them with what you have to offer!

Finding the right prospects is about creating trust, hope and building a relationship of care! You can learn these skills and more through MLSP. Get on with your personal development and you’ll see a big difference in your business.

    Find out their needs… so powerfully simple yet so many just totally blow that one…. we get so caught up on getting a new customer or rep that we forget to find out what they need…. asking questions…. another great post Lisa…. thanks for sharing..
