Was your healthcare insurance cancelled due to the ACA (Affordable Care Act)? Millions of people had their health insurance cancelled because those policies were not compliant with the new law. In their place, new policies are being offered via the general healthcare exchange and the individual state exchanges.
I discovered, as millions of people did, that the new policies are far more expensive than the one that was cancelled. My story is the same as millions of people.
If I want healthcare, I have to pay over $200 more per month than my previous cancelled healthcare. In addition, the deductible went from $1000 to over $5000! Yikes!
Many families are suffering because their costs skyrocketed as well. These people are middle class, earning over the annual income to qualify for subsidy.
The millions of people that qualify for assistance in paying their health insurance are happy. But now we have millions of people who will opt out and go without healthcare insurance. Why? Because millions of citizens are just over the subsidy cutoff and priced out of affordable coverage.
That doesn’t seem right to me. The same number of people now have insurance it’s just distributed differently.
How You Can Afford Healthcare Under Obamacare
We are living in a fear economy. The current economy is weak and insufficient. In addition to the economic fear that most people live in, millions will now also live in fear of unaffordable health costs.
The “Affordable Healthcare Act” is not affordable for the middle class.
It’s time you take back your economic freedom. If you are depending on your employer, I have one question: how is that working for you? Employers are squeezing their employees who wouldn’t dare walk out the door.
You can change that! Did you know that an estimate 15.8 million people work from home full-time and 38 million (12% of the population) work from home part-time?
You can too! By the year 2015 about 50% of households will be involved in a network marketing business. You can too.
Network marketing home business will give you the opportunity to improve your own economy and afford the u-naffordable healthcare insurance.
In order to bring more income into your household, take matters into your own hands and get in business for yourself.
Take control today and stop letting the national economy and ACA govern your life.
Lisa, great post! I have personally been affected by this “affordable” healthcare plan put in place. My wife and I now have to shop for healthcare plans at healthcare.giv, and as you say these plans are not very affordable for middle class families like mine. Now I will be paying an arm and a leg for my insurance, and will have higher deductible, pay more for office visits, specialists, and prescriptions. All around a horrible adjustment we need to make, but are left with no choice because we can’t not have insurance. Wisconsin has extended our coverage for 3 more months now because the website is so fouled up, and they just cannot seem to figure it all out. I can see why people won’t have healthcare when the dust settles, and that is a scary thought. Thanks for sharing you thoughts on the subject!
Thanks Josh! There has never been a worse time to be “middle class” in our country! I am sorry you have to endure this under Obamacare. What a blessing that you have a part-time home business to help cover those costs!

Love the article Lisa! Great points all around. More people need to recognize that THEY control their economic future.
Thanks Alex! Absolutely – each person is in control of their own financial situation. 2014 is looking great!
