The Growing Importance of Video Internet Marketing
As technology grows and people’s online habits change, video Internet marketing has become more important than ever. Here’s a few reasons why:
- Video marketing is one of the most powerful but underutilized marketing strategies.
- Videos work for you 24 hours a day, helping to build rapport with those who watch them
- It’s easier to get traffic to your YouTube video using SEO techniques than driving traffic to blog content
- It doesn’t take much time to make a 3 minutes video
- YouTube is the number 2 search engine in the world
With over 4 billion videos being watched on a daily basis, isn’t it time you give your potential customers and business partners what they want – that is marketing videos? You can drive more traffic and drive conversion rates just by adding video Internet marketing to your strategy toolbox.

Video marketing is the way to go! It is a marketing strategy that helps get your face in front of your audience and create a closer relationship between you and them.
There is just no way to outsource video marketing, so when you put your face on the camera it has to be you and not someone else.
As you have mentioned, people are either camera shy or have the fear to get their face in front of one. This presents a large opportunity for anyone who wants to succeed in this business.
By getting into videos, you will set yourself apart from 90% of people, who have chosen not to do videos because they were “afraid”. Video marketing gets you noticed and positions you as a leader. 🙂

Video marketing is great way to get ex-poser. I have made 90 videos and uploaded on youtube in one month. I am getting every day 30 visitors on my videos. You will need to make videos on what you know or what you have watched. Do not try to make videos on something that you do not understand.

Hi Lisa I am one of those people, I am very camera shy. I don’t even like my picture taken. I guess I am going to have to get over it. Thank you for this great article.

Hi Judy! We have that in common! I was also camera shy and when I learned about the importance of video marketing, I worked to get over that shyness.
In the last couple of months, I created over 30 videos as part of my personal strategy to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I highly recommend it!

Great article. Video marketing can be very powerful when done right. It is also good to plan your video (i.e. write a script) before you power up your camera. I think that by writing a script and perfecting your lines before shooting the video will give some confidence to those who are a little camera shy.
